Sean Mahon elevated to Senior Assistant

Following a successful first season at the helm of the Club’s U21s, NGWFC is pleased to announce the re-signing of Sean Mahon as coach of our U21s and elevation to Senior Assistant Coach.

Senior Coach Joey Didulica described Sean’s appointments as “an outstanding addition to the Warriors coaching ranks.” He said Sean is “one of the most talented coaches in Victoria and has proved this in his inaugural season, taking his 21’s team only inches away from a Grand Finals birth. He will play a vital role in our 3 year vision and club philosophy.”

Our U16 girls are champions!

Our U16 girls soccer team turned up ready to play and came out champions against a tough team from Barwon SC in today’s grand final.

With the pressure on, four goals from an on-fire Anastazia Simic and singles from Siena Gill and Maja Jurkovic, were too much for Barwon in what was a hard-fought win.

The team said that they felt Barwon pushed them hard, but the North team were able to come out on top.

Congratulations girls! A well-deserved Grand Final win to cap off another fantastic season!
