NORTH Geelong Warriors are looking to top up their U18s squad with players who want to develop their game and transition into top level Senior football.

With the NPL2 season set to start on Saturday March 21, there are only a couple of spots left in the U18s before the squad is finalised for the 2020 season.

Over the past two seasons, several U18s players at Elcho Park have worked their way up through the ranks of the U18s, U20s and then into the Senior fold.

They include Nicholas Volarevic, Luka Skoko, George Ellis and Seth Szkuta who have all progressed from the junior pathway, U18s and earned their way to senior squad selection this year.

The U18s coaching staff, led by Ahmad Sulaimi, have developed an holistic approach which includes preparation for senior football now in order to minimise the ability-gap during the transition from game-training football to performance phase football in 2021.
