FORMER internationals Josip Skoko and Joey Didulica will be joined by other former club legends when they pull on the boots in a special one off challenge match against the club’s affiliate team Elcho Park Cardinals at the upcoming Labour Day Fešta.
Josip (Socceroos) and Joey (Croatia) will be joined by other illustrious legends of yesteryear including Mijo Trupkovic, Adrian Cervinski, last season’s State 4 Golden Boot Mijo Marinovic and the player who has arguably played more senior games for North Geelong at various levels from First Team Seniors, to Sunday League Masters, Ivan Luburic!
The All day event will be filled with lots of fun and entertainment with the Legends vs Cardinals game, kicking off at 3:30 pm on Sunday March 8th.
The legends had their first training run last night at Hume Reserve. The lads looked sharp and have sounded out a warning to the Cardinals that they will be a formidable opponent on Sunday week at Elcho Park.
