WITH Geelong SC pulling out of a proposed pre-season friendly – which was scheduled for later tonight – the Seniors and U20s will instead stage a full scale intra-club practice match from 7:30pm at Elcho Park tonight.
Despite trying to organise a replacement team, club officials were unable to do so at such short notice, so the intra-club game will take its place.
Although the kitchen will not be open, the bar will be and all Warriors’ fans are urged to come along and spend a pleasant Friday night under lights watching the Club’s best talent in action as they ramp up preparations ahead of the new NPL2 season, commencing March 21.
Next THURSDAY night, however, a massive pre-season friendly has been confirmed with newly promoted NPL3 side North Sunshine at Elcho Park at 7:30pm.
It promises to be a huge night at Elcho Park, with the MiniRoos/Juniors section of the club will hold its ‘Meet and Greet’ with all new coaches from 6pm in the clubrooms with players, parents and families invited to stay back and take in the Seniors’ in action against the Eagles.
On that night, there will be food and beverage facilities provided…
