The Clubroom’s roof has received much needed love and attention to address leaks, maintenance, safety, bird and pest intrusion.
To the individuals, their families and businesses and the Community Bank Lara District ($27k community funding) who were instrumental with assisting the club achieve this strategic club aim – HUGE THANKS for the support.
New sheeting and insulation was installed to replace the initial install from the early 1980s.
Adding to the project we see new ceiling and lining under the grandstand roof, PA System, lighting, and a fresh coat of paint to brighten up the grandstand area for the public’s enjoyment and comfort.
Achieving this over the Christmas shutdown was no easy feat, with weather to navigate and getting timing right for the arrival and movement of personnel and equipment.
Many people from specialist backgrounds put their hand up to coordinate and perform the much-needed work as a part of the club’s strategic plan.
We hope our supporters and visitors alike continue to enjoy our club facilities and assist us in thanking and supporting those individuals and businesses involved here and better yet, ready themselves for upcoming improvements in 2023.
