Labour Day Festa – post match interview with Oz football media legend Andy Paschalidis in North Legends’ dressing rooms

NORTH Geelong Warriors community was graced by the unexpected appearance of Australian football media icon and good friend of the club Andy Paschalidis who flew down from Sydney to watch family friend Adrian Cervinski take the field in the Legends v Elcho Park Cardinals challenge match on Sunday.

“It was another busy weekend ended with a fantastic day/night at the North Geelong Warriors FC who staged their annual Legends match which featured the likes of Adrian Cervinski, Josip Skoko, John & Joey Didulica,” Andy posted on his official Facebook page.

“The Warriors will host the Annual Croatian Tournament in October – Australia’s longest running National competition and I ventured south to surprise the Cervinski family who lost 4-time NSL champion David to cancer 10 months ago.

“(It was) a wonderful community spirit here. Great to catch-up with so many friends. That’s what football does,” said Paschalidis on his Social Media account.

WarriorTV managed to secure a special – and exclusive – interview with the Australian football media legend in the North Geelong Legends’ dressing rooms following the challenge match against the Cardinals, which formed one of the major attractions of the immensely successful Labour Day Festa.
