Congratulations to our senior men who have won the Geelong Community Cup!
Scores were locked at 1-1 at the end of regular time, sending them straight to penalties. Our boys took the points after a nail-biting shootout, holding their nerve to claim the win over host club Geelong.
Earlier in the day our women went down to Geelong Galaxy in a close match, despite the heat. Only two weeks into their preseason, the girls were disappointed not to bring home the trophy but should be proud of their strong start to season 2024.
Our thanks to Geelong SC for hosting us over the last few days; it’s been another great tournament and an excellent way to start season 2024.
